I found this wool when wandering round the market one day. It was dirt cheap and there was loads of it. Eventually it will be turned into a poncho for wrapping myself up in when we go camping. But I haven't found the perfect pattern yet, and it was crying out to be turned into some thing in time for the following weekend in manchester. So I sat in the pub one night and made a hat. It looks far better on Vodka (toy rabbit) than it does on me. I wore it in Manchester that weekend, and though I may have resembled a teapot, I still got compliments from strangers. Or maybe they were just being kind. |
